DAY 2 – Wednesday:Audience of Holy Father
Early breakfast at a hotel.
At gathering at the PontificalState's discretion, the audience might be celebrated in Piazza S. Pietro or in the Nervi Hall.
Panoramic tour of the city: Piazza San Bernardo with Moses' Fountain, Piazza della Repubblica with Fountain of Naiadi, Via Veneto, Piazzale Flaminio, Via Fiaminia, the Olympic Village, Ponte Milvio, Lungotevere, Foro Italico, Ministry of Foreign Affairs followed by a short stop at the Stadio dei Marmi. Going along the Lungotevere towards Castel Sant'Angelo we will arrive on Via della Conciliazione and then at Piazza San Pietro. We will enter the Nervi Hall to attend to the papal audience. Return to the hotel.
Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 3 - Thursday:Basilica of St. Mary Major, Basilica of St. John in Lateran, Ancient Appian Way, The Catacombs of St. Callixtus
Breakfast at a hotel. Morning at leisure.
At we will leave Piazza San Bernardo, adorned crossing Piazza della Repubblica. Drive along Via Nazionale and then a visit to the Basilica of St. Mary Major, built on the Esquiline Hill in 352 A.D. The tour will be continued visiting the Basilica of St. John in Lateran, cathedral of Rome and of the world. Hence, we will go to the Holy Stairs, climbed by Jesus Christ to reach Pilate's Palace. From here the tour will be continued by coach crossing Piazza San Giovanni and Via Latina. Skirting along the Mura Latine, the tour will pass through the Porta di San Sebastiano to arrive on the ancient Appian way, where the Chapel of “Domine Quo Vadis is located. Visit of the Catacombs of St. Callixtus (approx. 45 min. On Wednesdays the Catacombs of S. Domitilla will be visited instead). On return the bus will be passing the Caracalla Baths.
Return to the hotel. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 4 - Friday: Vatican Museums - Vatican Galleries - Sistine Chapel - Vatican - Library Hall
At we are leaving Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses' Fountain, heading to Piazza della Repubblica with the Fountain of Naiadi in the middle. Then the itinerary will continue, passing by Via Piemonte, the Aurelian Walls, Porta Pinciana, the Muro Torto and the Villa Borghese. After this ample view of an important part of the city, we will visit the VaticanMuseums and the Vatican Galleries. You will then admire the Round Hall, the Hall of the Greek Cross, the burial site of Constantine's two daughters: Helena and Constanza. We will then stop to admire the Sistine Chapel frescoed by Michelangelo. We will continue with the Galleries of the Chandeliers, of the Tapestries and of the Geographical Maps to end up in the Vatican Library Hall.

DAY 5 - Saturday: ROME
Breakfast, Day at leisure. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 6 - Sunday: Holy Father's Blessing.
Early breakfast. Holy Father's Blessingin Piazza San Pietro. After the blessing - Trevi Fountain - Pantheon - Piazza Navona - St. Peter's Basilica
At pick up for the tour from Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses' Fountain. We will continue towards Piazza della Republica, Via Piemonte, the Aurelian Walls, Porta Pinciana, Via Veneto, Via Nazionale. After this ample view of an important part of the city, the guided tour will lead you to the Trevi Fountain, a baroque jewel, and to the Pantheon, originally a pagan temple, which will be visited. We will head to Palazzo Madama, seat of the Senate of the Republic, to finally get to gorgeous Piazza Navona, built on the ruins of the Domitian's Circus. Then you will have the chance to admire Castel Sant'Angelo and to visit the St. Peter's Basilica.
